Grand Forks NWS SKYWARN:
I've talked about it many times on the airwaves...now you can see and hear for yourself. Eddie Vedder sure has an interesting delivery and can sometimes be difficult to understand...but NO MORE! Now, YOU can understand every lyric! Here's a taste:
First thing that comes to mind is "Uhhhhhmmm..." I'm really not sure what to say about this aside from the fact it's really weird...and a little awkward. I'm sure it would be hella funny in person though!
You may or may not know that I'm somewhat of a gamer. I thoroughly enjoy first-person shooters. One of them I play on a regular basis is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It's pretty fun to hunt down terrorists and play the Ground War mode with 12 on 12 action. I enjoy the game a lot, but I think these guys beat my enthusiasm by just a little bit. Check out their tribute video (make sure to watch both part 1 and part 2):
Check out this kid...he's a real thug. I guess if you have to teach your children to stand up for themselves, you could do this...or actually just parent them. Up to you.
Let's face it, I'm a sucker for really awesome videos. I have always wanted to make a video of this calibur (see link below). I can only fathom the resources needed to pull this sort of thing off. Nearly thousands of people to be in the video, collaboration with the city police for traffic control throughout the route (and to be in the video with the fire department), plus people who know the words to the song. Then, having every person know exactly what to do and when to do it had to take some serious time. I definitely throw out a BIG thumbs up to these people for making such an awesome thing possible. Watch the video and experience it for yourself.
I've always wondered this. I think Cats are taking over the world. Watch, and listen to the soothing British actor's voice.
Also, I wish this were me at two years old.
By the way, in case you missed "ONE" the Metallica tribute band last Saturday night, shame on you. It was thoroughly AMAZING!! Here's a picture to prove it.
Also, I want an owl.
I know, I said it. It's a rarity so see why I think basketball could actually be exciting. Watch this: Big Basketball Dunk
As you may know, I'm a sucker for pretty much anything with technology involved. Video production is one of my hobbies and if I had enough money, this would be my next camera. I'm taking donations, FYI...
Unfortunately, I didn't make the tricopter from yesterday, but I'm sure these excuses will work for that, too.
